Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve was spent with our friends the Clarks and the Craigs. We had a yummy ham and potatoes dinner complete with home made rolls and rainbow layered jello, followed by songs and a nativity story by all of our littles. 

I didn't take any pictures because Nina had the flu bug and was throwing up. Fun times. ;) 

We came home exchanged family gifts and opened our Christmas jammies and slippers. 

All ready for visions of sugar plums...

We ended the night by watching How the Grinch Stole Christmas, and  talking about the birth of our Savior Jesus Christ. I love that they know the story well, and that they love talking about his birth and the importance of His life, death and most importantly His resurrection. What amazing babies I have!

Nina's 1

My Neenie Beanie Baby is 1! 

Oh how we love this little girl!

We started the morning out with a yummy breakfast of eggs and cinnamon rolls. 

This is Nina's CHEESE face. :) She is a ham for the camera already. 

 Kennedy trying to sneak more buns, Derek not to happy about it. :)

 We then all got ready and went to the mall for a little Build a Bear action. 

(Nina was actually pretty sick all day and was not in the partying mood, but loved her bear)

 Kennedy, Xander, and Alli did all the work and got it all ready for her, they even named it.

 Pinky Love welcome to our family! :)

 We ended up coming home early and putting her to bed. She was just not in the partying mood and it was quite sad. :(

The next day she was slightly better, but still not quite her happy self. I attempted to make her a cute ballerina shoes cake, but managed to screw it up and just went the easy route. She was a good sport and dove into some cake regardless of how she was feeling.

Nina is the cutest little sister ever!

 We all adore her and love to hold and cuddle and love on all day long.  

Kennedy's Baptism

This beautiful girl was baptized on December 1st 2012. 

 

 It was a special day and it was made even better by family and friends being here to share it with. Both sets of Kennedy's grandparents were able to come and participate in her baptism. Her Grandpas gave the  talks and her Grandmas gave the prayers. I had so much help from our parents, friends and sister and it was a special day that I will never forget. I hope she feels the same. :)

 We met for a lunch afterwards and it was a yummy ending to her special day. 

Kindergarten Performance

Xander had his year end performance and he looked like a stylin' farmer!  He and his classmates have been practicing all year and were ready to perform for family and friends.
